Larry Carnevale was born October 8'th, 1969. He was raised on Hampton Beach, New Hampshire along the New England Seacoast, attending private schools and later Mortuary College, as his prior work was in the Funeral Business.
Larry got his start in the Entertainment Business not as a comedian, but as a songwriter and musician. He played guitar and sang in the New England Pop group "The Swifts". After a miserable stint as New England's answer to "The Monkees" Larry left The Swifts behind and found himself searching for something more. Still working at the local Funeral Home, (and unsatisfied doing so) Larry felt he needed a career change, all the while working on Onion Comics.
A career change came for him in 1992. At this time he left the Funeral Home to work on the air at WCQL FM in Portsmouth New Hampshire. It was here that he developed his comedic ability and adopted the stage name "LARRY WHITE."
He was kept busy in the early 90's, with his own radio show at night, as well as writing comedy for stage and other radio programs in the area.
In 1995 he left New England and WCQL to move to Jacksonville Florida where he had his own all
night radio program at 96.9 FM. It was there in Jacksonville Florida that the "Great White
Comic" first hit the stage as a stand up comedian.
Larry later moved to the Tidewater area of Virginia to temporarily fill in at a
local AM Country station where he met new friends and began writing new comic
strips that are currently underway, "Lil' Marilyn & Captain
Underground."
